A Domain name is the address where people can access a website on the internet. a series of numbers or characters or mix of both is used to identify computers on the internet. Because it is difficult for us to remember a string of numbers & letters Domain names were developed. A domain name, once typed into the web browser is then identified & redirected to the ip address range to that server using the DNS (Domain Name system).
